It has come to the attention of the Maricopa County Branch NAACP (MCBNAACP) that Black LivesMatters Protestors (who participated in several protests in Phoenix, AZ), may be subjected to “gangaffiliation enhancement” charges which will result in harsher punishment. False Text Messages

It has come to the attention of the Maricopa County Branch NAACP that text messages claiming to be from the NAACP have been sent to members and supporters of the NAACP.  These text messages claim that the NAACP “has evidence of violence toward black people” and other such claims.  These messages have not been confirmed as official or authentic from the NAACP National Office or any other NAACP Unit.   Sincerely, Karen Hardin, Ed. – President
